As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and screening activities. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while providing exceptional customer service. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $17.39 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer locations, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian activity entering and leaving the property. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with appropriate personnel. Observe and report potential hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. X-Ray screening experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
