Mechanical Design Engineer

Job TitleDuties:Provide scope, budgets and estimates for projectsPerform calculations, duct sizing, pipe sizing and equipment selection to resolve customer needsBuild rapport with existing client base to facilitate new project opportunitiesCreate custom design solutions to directly address complex customer issuesCoordinate and manage subcontractors for timely delivery of scope itemsCreate drawings for field personnel to work fromAct as technical expert for both internal and external customersDevelop sales and marketing proposals for customer on technical products and servicesAct to close deals and finalize contractsOther duties as assignedRequired Experience:5 -10 years of relevant experienceProficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.Understanding of HVAC/R and Plumbing including clean rooms, industrial applications, chiller & boilers, BMS controls, system designProfessional, dynamic presence and ability to communicate with people of all levelsExcellent written and verbal skills at technical and professional levelAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with quotas and goals
