Community Manager

Help build a positive, responsive, and engaged online community by combining hands-on customer support, thoughtful moderation, and proactive member engagement. This role is suited to someone who communicates clearly, handles sensitive situations calmly, and works effectively in a fast-paced remote environment. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and moderate online communities to maintain a safe, respectful, inclusive, and welcoming environment.
• Respond promptly to member questions, customer concerns, and complaints with empathy and professionalism.
• De-escalate conflicts and diffuse tense situations to preserve constructive interactions and community harmony.
• Develop proactive engagement approaches that encourage participation and help maintain an active community.
• Manage and engage communities across platforms such as Discord and Reddit.
• Share community feedback, recurring issues, and useful insights with internal teams.
• Manage multiple conversations and priorities efficiently in a remote work environment.
• Create clear, friendly, and effective written and verbal communications across community and support channels.

• Proven experience in customer support and online community moderation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on clear and empathetic messaging.
• Strong conflict-management and de-escalation abilities.
• Excellent time-management skills, particularly in a remote setting.
• Ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, self-directed approach to problem-solving and community support.
• Adaptability and willingness to provide additional support when community needs require it.

• Experience managing large-scale online communities.
• Experience with multiple community platforms and CRM tools.
• Strong interest in building lasting member relationships and improving user experiences.

• Full-time position.
• Remote role based in Latin America.

• $15 to $20 per hour.
