Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

$1884.96/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. Deliver expert support in obstetric emergencies and ensure safe, patient-centered childbirth experiences. Responsibilities: Monitor fetal and maternal health using GE fetal monitoring equipment. Manage labor progression and assist with delivery procedures, including cesarean sections. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Document patient care accurately within the EMR system (Meditech, CPN). Provide patient education and emotional support throughout labor and delivery. Float to mother-baby units when needed, supporting overall staff coverage. Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse license in Texas or applicable state. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery. Proficiency in labor management, cesarean circulation, and obstetric procedures. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and team-oriented attitude. Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. BLS, NRP, and AWHONN compliance required.
