Overview
Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. Start date: 06/29/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: 2,839 to 3,004 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour rotating (Day/Evening). Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment. Work setting: hospital operating room; experience in a large, academic teaching environment is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide intraoperative nursing care for cardiovascular/open heart procedures, functioning as scrub and/or circulating nurse per assignment
- Maintain sterile technique, manage instruments, and uphold OR safety and patient care standards
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia team, and perioperative staff; document perioperative care in the Epic EMR
- May float to other OR services (general, ortho, neuro, ENT) and, if floated, act as circulating nurse (scrub duties not guaranteed)
- Manage preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate postoperative activities; monitor patient status and respond to intraoperative events
- Adhere to scheduling constraints (0645–1915 hours, with on-call expectations) and contribute to after-hours coverage as needed

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license (state not specified)
- BLS certification required; CNOR preferred
- Minimum 2 years OR nursing experience with recent cardiovascular/open -heart competency
- Prior travel experience required
- Must scrub for CVOR cases; if floated, will circulate
- Epic experience within the past 2 years
