Maintenance Technician

Job Summary The Maintenance Technician will perform all maintenance tasks as needed, especially those which require specific technical skills and knowledge in the manufacturing of plastic products. There is a $2,000 sign‑on bonus for this position with the first $1,000 paid after the first 3 months of continuous employment and another $1,000 paid after 6 months of continuous employment. Job Responsibilities Repair all maintenance tasks as needed Perform diagnoses of complex problems on plastic injection and blow molding machines, as well as related equipment such as grinders, compressors, chillers, etc. Perform all electrical repairs on molding machines by use of electrical schematics Use welders, blow torches, drills, saws, and other tools to manufacture tools or parts used in the repair and maintenance of machines and equipment Operate the controls of the machines in order to determine problems and test solutions Read hydraulic drawings and make repairs as needed Work with 480V 3-phase Operate hand and power tools, tow motor, high lift, saws, welders, and grinder Perform other related duties and assignments as required Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Requires at least 3 years of experience with the operation and/or repair of plastic injection molding and blow molding machines Requires at least 3 years of experience working with electrical components Ability to lift up to 50lbs Frequent walking/standing Compensation The hourly pay rate is $30-$35/hr What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base pay Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs Group retirement savings program Health and wellness programs An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
