Customer Service Representative

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our production team. This position serves as an important link between our sales team, advertisers and production and graphic design departments, helping ensure advertisements and publication materials are received, prepared, designed, proofed and completed accurately and on deadline. Above all, the ideal candidate will have a desire to grow professionally and contribute to a talented, supportive team. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work and is committed to providing excellent customer service. Experience in newspaper, magazine or other print production is a plus, but not required. For the right candidate, we are looking for strong organizational skills, attention to detail, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Qualifications Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment Exception organization skills Experience with ad design and layout is a plus Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign is a plus Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced production environment Responsibilities Coordinate advertising materials and production requests between sales representatives, clients, and the production/design team. Review incoming ad materials to ensure files, copy, images, logos, sizes, and specifications are complete and accurate. Communicate with clients and sales reps regarding missing materials, corrections, proofs, and deadlines. Maintain a high level of organization while managing multiple publications, advertisers, and deadlines.
