We currently have the following position available at Valco Instruments in Houston, Texas.

Tech Sales Rep

Ready to get out of the lab and put your knowledge of analytical systems and equipment to good use? We are looking for an outgoing individual who is interested in being a voice of our company by helping customers with their analytical applications. The position requires someone with hands-on experience who can answer customer questions quickly and professionally.

Essential functions

• Answer questions about our products over the phone and by email
• Suggest solutions to customer's needs
• Quote pricing and lead times
• Confer with and assist colleagues as needed
• All other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications and experience:

• B.A. or higher degree is a plus
• At least 3 years of hands-on analytical experience
• Working knowledge of chromatographs and process instruments
• Working command of the English language (read, write, and speak)
