As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Madison, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will remain visible, help to deter security-related incidents, and report concerns promptly. Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Screen individuals, packages, deliveries, and/or materials entering the technology-focused location in accordance with established procedures and applicable site requirements.
Operate screening equipment and perform visual inspections to help identify prohibited or unauthorized items, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and surrounding business perimeter, documenting observations and completing required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

A guard card or license is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
