Location: Remote (Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones)
Salary Range: Up to $250,000 base, plus annual bonus up to $30,000
Sign-On Bonus: Possible for the right candidate
A growing fire and life safety engineering firm is looking for a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join its team on a remote basis. This is a hands-on technical delivery role, not a business development seat.
About the Role
The firm handles a wide range of project types including high-rise, mixed-use, healthcare, aged-care, and industrial buildings. The work is a mix of fire code consulting, building code consulting, and fire protection systems design, with growing capability in smoke control and pressurization system design. You would be delivering projects, mentoring junior staff, and working directly with clients.
What They Are Looking For
- Licensed PE in Fire Protection (must be reciprocable to Nevada)
- Engineering degree in fire protection, mechanical, structural, civil, electrical, or a related discipline
- At least 6 years of experience in fire and building code consulting
- Experience with high-rise, mixed-use, or healthcare projects is valued
- Smoke control and pressurization system design experience is a plus
- Sprinkler design experience is a plus
- Fire alarm design experience is a plus but lower priority
- Must be willing to travel to the office once a month
The Package
- Up to $250,000 base salary
- Annual bonus (up to $30,000)
