We are seeking a seasoned HR professional who excels in providing day-to-day employee support and driving strategic HR initiatives. The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced HR Generalist who is dedicated to fostering a positive workplace culture, working collaboratively, and seeing projects through from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Employee Support

• Act as a reliable source of information for employees and leaders regarding payroll, benefits, policies, and HR procedures.
• Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain employee records and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws.
• Support managers in employee relations matters, coaching, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

• Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts and collaborate with hiring managers to attract top talent.
• Enhance the onboarding experience for new hires.
• Expand and support the organization's internship program.
• Represent the company at career fairs and establish partnerships with educational institutions.

HR Programs & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with HR leadership to design and implement initiatives focusing on employee engagement, retention, performance management, and development.
• Manage projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring effective communication and adoption.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancement and efficiency within HR functions.
• Leverage employee feedback and data to propose innovative ideas for improvement.

Culture & Employee Engagement

• Promote a positive workplace culture through employee recognition, wellness programs, engagement activities, and corporate events.
• Support initiatives that uphold the organization's core values and enhance the overall employee experience.

Compliance & Administrative Support

• Ensure HR practices align with employment regulations and company policies.
• Assist in HR audits, reporting obligations, and safety initiatives.
• Provide general office support, including organizing company events, ordering supplies, and contributing to special projects as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
• Proficiency in full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, and payroll processes.
• Strong grasp of employment legislation and HR best practices; multi-state experience is advantageous.
• Preferably holds certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or equivalent.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
• Demonstrated organizational and project management capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel; familiarity with UKG software is a plus.
• Industry experience in manufacturing is desirable.
• Ability to travel occasionally for branch visits and recruitment events.
