Purchasing Associate

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for managing inventory and purchasing processes? We're looking for a dynamic Purchasing Associate to join our team and help streamline our procurement operations. What You'll Do Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely procurement of necessary materials and products. Utilize ERP systems to manage purchase orders and maintain accurate inventory records. Analyze and optimize purchasing methods to improve cost efficiency and supply chain reliability. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. What We're Looking For An Associate's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field is preferred; however, equivalent experience is also valued. A minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, buying, inventory management, or industrial distribution. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems. Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Skills Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) or similar ERP systems. Background in industrial distribution, manufacturing, MRO, power transmission, hose, hydraulics, bearings, fluid power, or related industries.
