Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate, fully licensed mental health professionals with expertise in Trauma, DBT, Neurodiversity, Couples & Families, Adolescents, or CCPT & CPRT to join our team. The Counselors will provide individual counseling to clients, with the option to also provide group counseling.
Trauma Counselor - will work with clients who have experienced psychological trauma, including but not limited to abuse, neglect, violence, accidents, or traumatic loss/grief. This counselor will provide trauma-informed counseling using evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, TF-CBT, CPT, PE, IFS, and/or Somatic Experiencing. This role requires clinical experience in evidence-based trauma treatment and a strong commitment to client-centered, culturally competent care.
DBT Counselor - will work with clients who are experiencing emotional distress, self-destructive behaviors, or mental health challenges, using the principles and techniques of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help them achieve emotional regulation, improved interpersonal relationships, and a more balanced life. This counselor will help build our DBT program, provide individual counseling, facilitate DBT skills group, engage in DBT case consultation, and provide DBT phone coaching (within reason and while maintaining boundaries). Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), complex trauma, or high emotional dysregulation is strongly preferred.
Neurodiversity Counselor - will provide specialized mental health services to individuals with Attention- Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) across the lifespan. The ideal candidate will be adept in developmentally appropriate, evidence-based interventions and possess a deep understanding of neurodiversity, behavioral support strategies, and family systems. Certification or formal training in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention- Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and/or neurodiversity-affirming practices is preferred.
Couples & Families Counselor - will provide individual, couple, and family counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic methods (e.g., EFT, Gottman Method, CBT, PACT, Systemic Therapy), facilitate healthy communication and conflict resolution strategies, and work with clients experiencing marital challenges, parenting issues, divorce, blended family dynamics, and intergenerational conflict. This counselor will have a strong background in relationship dynamics, systems theory, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support couples and families in achieving healthier communication, resolving conflict, and strengthening emotional bonds. This position requires empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a deep understanding of interpersonal relationships within a family context.
Adolescent Counselor - will provide counseling services to adolescents (ages 12-17) and will have a deep understanding of the emotional, psychological, and developmental needs of adolescents and a strong commitment to supporting their well-being. The Adolescent Counselor will also provide crisis intervention, and collaborate with families, schools, and other care providers to create supportive environments for adolescent growth and healing. Address issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, trauma, substance use, peer relationships, and identity development.
CCPT/CPRT Counselor - will provide non-directive play therapy to children (ages 3-12) and facilitate evidence-based CPRT groups for caregivers. The therapist will support emotional growth, healing, and stronger parent-child bonds through individual sessions and structured parent group interventions. This counselor should be trained in CCPT & CPRT. Registered Play Therapist (RPT) preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to support treatment goals.
Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed.
Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development related to area of expertise.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Current state licensure (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent).
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Commitment to ethical, client-centered, and culturally responsive practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
