Position Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Activities Director to lead our vibrant activities program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors, a knack for planning and organizing events, and the ability to foster a sense of community and well-being among our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, plan, and implement a comprehensive activities program tailored to the interests and abilities of our residents.
• Coordinate and oversee a variety of activities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages resident participation and engagement.
• Collaborate with other staff members, volunteers, and community partners to enhance the activities program.
• Manage the activities budget, ensuring cost-effective planning and execution.
• Promote activities through various channels including newsletters, social media, and facility bulletin boards.
• Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in activities planning, preferably in a senior living or similar environment.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creativity and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
