Medical Billing Specialist

Job Summary: Responsible for performing transactional processes and transactions of basic complexity. Job Responsibilities: Processes billing transactions and enters them into a computerized system. Follows processes and performs transactions with a high degree of accuracy. Handles a larger volume of basic transactions. Helps run basic reports following routine processes. May assist more senior specialists in processing more complex transactions and work. Other responsibilities as judgement or necessity dictates. Basic Qualifications High school diploma from accredited school or equivalent GED; or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of collections processes Proficient skill level Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong attention to detail Commitment to excellent customer service Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to prioritize and manager multiple responsibilities.
