Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison, Dermatology - Ohio Valley

Job Description Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison – Dermatology Location: Ohio Valley region (Maryland, Virginia, Western Pennsylvania, North East Ohio, Washington DC) Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with current and future industry experts, including physicians, advanced practice providers, and biologic coordinators. Build and manage Key Opinion Leader relationships across a select number of districts. Organize and manage KOL activities and events to support the brand’s KOL engagement strategy. Identify and vet promotional speakers, coach speakers, and manage communications with promotional speakers. Lead or partner with home office-based teams to develop and deliver marketing and educational programs. Requirements Minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Minimum of 7 years of related industry experience. 2+ years of people management or project management experience. Concentration in biotechnology sales or marketing, with a preference for medical dermatology therapeutic markets. Experience in managing and growing customer relationships. Demonstrated track record of success and leadership. Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively convey insights and ideas. Ability to analyze complex business situations and identify creative solutions. Experience in vendor management. Demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and applying new tools over time (preferred). Field-Based Position Non-demand generating. Up to 60% local/regional travel, including evening events, overnight stays, and weekend travel. Compensation Base pay range: $137,000.00 – $235,750.00. Benefits Time off: Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year; Sick time – 40 hours per calendar year (48 in Colorado, 56 in Washington); Holiday pay – 13 days per calendar year; Work, personal and family time – up to 40 hours per calendar year; Parental leave – 480 hours; Bereavement leave – 240 hours for immediate family member, 40 per extended family member; Caregiver leave – 80 hours within 52‑week rolling period; Volunteer leave – 32 hours; Military spouse time‑off – 80 hours.
