Financial Analyst

Title: Account Opening & Maintenance - Analyst Location: Cohoes, NY Duration: 6 Months Job Overview We are seeking an Account Opening & Maintenance Analyst to support account onboarding and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and processing account opening requests, coordinating operational activities, working across multiple internal systems, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Review and process account opening requests, creating accounts in internal systems and generating required client documentation. Coordinate and complete team-specific operational tasks as requested by the business. Work across multiple systems and platforms to support daily operations. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve ongoing issues and respond to policy-related inquiries. Provide operational support and assist with special projects as assigned. Apply sound business judgment to identify unusual or suspicious activities and elevate concerns appropriately. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures related to quality, client service, information security, and compliance. Required Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Windows. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and sound decision-making skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
