Over 85% of our families live in poverty, reflecting the challenges faced by nearly 1.7 million New Yorkers today.What does the Program Director do:Maintain professional relationships with clients and client confidentiality.Practice Universal Precautions/Standard Protocol & Procedures.Understand all aspects of contract requirements and communicate this understanding to staff.Comply with all Federal, State, City and CAMBA security and privacy policies intended to protect the security and privacy of individually identifiable health information.Make recommendations to the Executive Vice President regarding organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.Confer with the Executive Vice President on programmatic and operational matters.Confer with the appropriate Executive Vice President and/or other CAMBA management/Executive Staff as needed regarding programmatic and personnel issues.Clearly communicate both CAMBA's and funders' policies, requirements, guidelines, and program performance targets to staff.Train staff in program responsibilities, processes, and procedures, and ensure that all staff meets contract requirements in their daily work.Collaborate with staff to set realistic weekly and monthly performance targets in accordance with contract requirements.Coordinate and supervise all day-to-day activities of direct reporting staff.Conduct periodic internal file review and implement Quality Assurance measures as needed to ensure quality service delivery to clients.Prepare contract reports and statistical information for both CAMBA management and funder use.Complete program forms and reports for the agency's finance, payroll and human resources departments as required.Collaborate with staff on programmatic improvements.Organize onsite and offsite training opportunities for professional development of staff.Attend and represent the organization at staff, funder, and external agency meetings as required.Review and sign time sheets.Prepare performance appraisals for direct reporting staff.Ensure that all direct and subordinate staff comply with CAMBA's and funder policies and rules.Ensure that any disciplinary action taken, regarding staff, follows CAMBA's disciplinary policy and procedure.Ensure that all goals, targets, and performance outcomes are met on a monthly/annual basis.Develop and implement Quality Assurance measures to ensure quality service delivery to clients.Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all staff weekly/monthly/quarterly/semester/annual reports.Review and submit monthly and/or annual reports to funders.Analyze program and demographic data to make programmatic improvements.Communicate with peers on issues related to client progress and best program practices.Conduct regular staff meetings.While not on call, will be expected to be reachable after hours and on weekends to assist and consult on client emergencies when needed.Immediately report to the appropriate Senior Program Director/Vice President any: monitoring visits or funders' events; significant events; any incident that might subject CAMBA to liability.In consultation with CAMBA's Human Resources Department and the Executive Vice President make firing recommendations.Other duties as assigned.Education, Licenses, and/or Certifications Required:Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, or a related field, with a current LCSW or LMHC license, and at least two (2) years of experience overseeing supportive housing programs.Minimum Experiences and Skills Required:Relevant experience as described above, preferably in a mid-sized (250+ employees) organization.Knowledge about, understanding of, and ability to work closely with persons who are chronically homeless, and/or living with HIV/AIDS and related issues.Familiarity with prevention services.Excellent written & verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite products.Preferred Qualifications:Bilingual in Spanish preferred.Compensation: -$100,000 annually When salary ranges are listed, the range would represent the low and high end for the applicable position & program. The salary offered would be based on various factors unique to each program and candidate.
