Full Time Field Service Technician - Milwaukee, WI

Job Summary Robotics and Digital Solutions (RDS) Division of The Hillman Group is hiring a Full Time Field Service Technician in Milwaukee, WI and surrounding suburban area. The role focuses on kiosk maintenance and service for key duplicating (Minute Key), tag engraving (Quick Tag) kiosks, and third‑party solutions (Eco‑ATM, Pokémon). The territory covers 70+ kiosks with approximately 40 hours per week. Pay ranges from $22–$25 per hour. Company car, cell‑phone reimbursement, and a corporate gas card for business mileage are provided. Wellness Program Employee Stock Purchase Plan Vacation, Paid Time Off, Sick Days, Floating Holidays Essential Job Functions Re‑stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed. Perform on‑call repairs or adjustments when kiosks go out of order. Install new kiosks or replace existing ones. Monitor kiosk performance daily and coordinate with stores for connectivity or power issues. Track inventory for kiosk restocking. Grow revenue by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, and store relationships. Must participate in safety and health program activities, report hazards, wear required PPE, and support safety committee activities. Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED. Background in electromechanical repair and maintenance (preferred). Experience in retail merchandising, field operations, and customer service (preferred). 1–3 years of experience in a similar role (preferred). Proficiency with tools and troubleshooting mechanical problems. Fluent English for technical communication. Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook). Professional representation of Hillman. Availability to work weekends when required. Operational Equipment Excellent driving record and valid driver’s license (clean record required). Reliable transportation with automobile insurance (mileage reimbursement). Reliable cell phone (reimbursed). Work Environment and Physical Demands Sales/Service Environment varies due to location/store set‑up. May be exposed to cramped quarters, dust, fumes, or odors. Daily travel may be required, including up to 200 miles. Hand/eye coordination, functional vision, and hearing required. Physical Demands Medium: lifting up to 30 lbs.; occasionally pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs.
