Senior Manager, Memory Sourcing

Join us at the forefront of technological advancement.What you’ll be doing:This Memory/Storage Sourcing Sr. Manager will be a transformative leader who can develop, deliver, and implement comprehensive commodity strategies and make recommendations to internal stakeholders on memory product related matters. As a global commodity management professional, you demonstrate strong analytical skills to guide decisions, are highly collaborative and have both business acumen and technical experience in the Memory or Storage industry. You will have successfully transformed commodity management teams, led supplier engagements, and have provided outstanding value to other operations and engineering teams.Build a strategy and vision for NVIDIA's Memory and Storage solutions for Network BU. Incorporate internal and external ideas to establish a robust sourcing team.Collaborate with and influence leaders across various cross-functional organizations, collaborators, suppliers on a regular basis; coordinate engagement with the entire ecosystem to determine technical and business requirements for highly complex business areas and product categories.Drive multi-year sourcing strategy and partnership engagement to support NVIDIA's fast growth business requirements while optimizing costs and ensuring continuity of supply.Manage partnership with suppliers to drive innovation and improvement, transform capabilities and proactively assess risk and impact of change.Be responsible for cost negotiation and continuity of supply and partner with planning and materials team to optimize supply chain for this critical category.Drive business impact by applying subject matter expertise in procurement processes and policies, and market intelligence to develop and influence strategies cross-functionally.What we need to see:10+ overall years of strategic sourcing and high-tech industry experience or related field5+ years experience in a leadership or managerial roleExtensive global sourcing leadership experience building and engaging global memory and storage suppliersBA / BS degree (Masters preferred), or equivalent experienceOutstanding negotiation skills in executive supplier managementExcellent communications and influencing skills working with engineering, finance, business units, and other supply chain functionsHigh degree of integrity, initiative, and attention to detailWith competitive salaries and generous benefits packages, we are widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers; we have some of the most thoughtful and dedicated people working for us and, due to unparalleled growth, our best-in-class teams are rapidly growing.
