Welding Technician - 2nd Shift

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLDdivision is currently seeking a Welding Technician - 2nd Shift at our Troy, IL facility! The core hours are 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $25.44 per hour, plus $0.50 per hour shift premium. What You’ll Do: The Welding Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and precision of welded components. The technician will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and welding symbols, participating in quality inspections, and collaborating within a cross-functional team of skilled welders. Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols. Perform quality inspections to ensure weld integrity and product standards. Operate an Overhead Crane to safely move materials and components. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: A minimum of six (6) months experience in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications: Previous Welding Experience Welding Certification Position Success Criteria: Must be able to use a tape measure and calipers.
