Punch Press Operator
Position Type: Hourly / Full Time / In Person
Pay Rate: $17$22/hour DOE
Schedule: 6:00am 4:30pm MondayThursday
Job Description
The Punch Press Operator is responsible for producing metal parts using punch press machines and other manufacturing equipment in a metal stamping facility. This role involves operating machinery, following production specifications, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to workplace safety procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate punch presses and other department machinery
- Produce metal parts according to specifications
- Wash or oil parts as needed
- Follow work instructions and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- Previous punch press experience preferred
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs
