Travel Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer - $2,475 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a travel assignment in Baltimore, Maryland. Job Details Specialty: Echo Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 12 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8‑hour rotating shift Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Educate patients and/or their family regarding procedures performed. Demonstrate competence in performance of echocardiographic studies. Consistently perform quality Doppler and color Doppler exams. Acquire quality stress echo and dobutamine images according to physician and benchmark standards. Perform quality trans‑esophageal echocardiograms according to physician expectations. Demonstrate an understanding of cardiac disease processes and acquired images. Report findings or concerns to the reading physician for prompt interpretation. Perform all related processing required for each completed study. Maintain equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting according to department procedure and identifying problems with equipment and reporting appropriately. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements One year of experience as an Echocardiography Technologist. BLS certification. National certification such as ARDMS‑RDCS or CCI‑RS, and state‑specific licensing when required. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods of time. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Additional certifications may be required prior to assignment. Job ID #1423534.
