Deputy Director

Overview The Deputy Executive Director reports to the Executive Director. Assists the Executive Director, assists in the administration of the day-to-day operations of HRHA to include the supervision of staff, supervision of special projects as directed by the Executive Director; serves as the acting Executive Director in his absence. As Deputy Executive Director primarily plans, organizes, guides and directs, housing development, community development, property development, construction, real estate, and homeownership programs; supports and facilitates Authority’s mission through accomplishment of program and project goals and objectives; creates and manages program(s) budget; directs and supervises program staff; participates as active management team member; maintains records; develops reports. This position also leads and oversees residential development projects that HRHA manages on behalf of the City of Hampton— including visioning, planning, project compliance, stakeholder coordination, and reporting.
