Property Accountant

Property AccountantLHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Property Accountant job for the corporate office located in Roseville, CA. This job is 100% in-office! We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented accountant that has experience in real estate or property management. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks for our portfolio of properties. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing real estate organization.Responsibilities:Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare monthly financial statements for assigned properties.Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow for multiple properties.Prepare and submit monthly rent invoices and ensure timely rent collection.Review and analyze financial data to identify variances and trends.Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.Conduct monthly analysis of property expenses and provide recommendations for cost savings.Coordinate with property managers and other team members to resolve accounting-related issues.Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.Assist in the preparation of annual audits and tax filings.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in property accounting or a similar role.Software experience with Yardi is preferred.Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Experience: 2 years of property accounting experience (Property Accountant, Real Estate Accountant, Staff Accountant) Employment Type: Temp to HirePay Details: $32.00 to $35.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
