TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Wichita, Kansas, 67214!

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rapid Response Duration: 6 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2-3 years OB Experience License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, AWHONN, NRP Must-Have: Strong Labor and Delivery experience, including care and management of inductions, labor, delivery, recovery, and Cesarean sections. Strong Mother-Baby experience, including care of couplets. Description: This is a Rapid Response position requiring a commitment of 48 hours. The unit consists of 20 single private rooms and 2 operating rooms. Staffing includes charge nurses, surgical scrub RNs, admission control technicians, and registered nurses. Patient ratios are 1:1 for mothers in active labor and 3:1 for mother-baby couplets. Equipment includes LDRP equipment, well newborn care equipment, operating room equipment, medication management systems, and fetal monitoring systems. The electronic medical record system used is CPN GOLD. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, compassion, and the ability to connect with patients and families. The Birth Care Suites are designed for family-centered delivery and include caregiver beds, family rooms, and private bathrooms. Comprehensive women's and children's services are provided, along with access to a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. A dedicated lactation specialist offers hands-on support to mothers. The focus is on providing personalized care to create a memorable birthing experience.
