About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Technology Portfolio Management with a focus on Data, Analytics, and AI. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing portfolio management support to agile and project teams, ensuring alignment, visibility, and effective execution across the enterprise technology portfolio. This critical leadership role within the EPMO will drive consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement in the planning, governance, and delivery of portfolio initiatives. The VP will also support key EPMO service offerings, including program epics management, people management and coaching, quality management, reporting, benefits management, and governance of processes and standards. Close collaboration with project and scrum teams, as well as business and technology stakeholders, is essential to enable strong portfolio health, optimize resource utilization, and ensure alignment with enterprise goals. Candidates for this role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience managing highly complex IT programs, with a budget of up to $25M, and at least 5 years of experience in people management. A deep understanding of project and software development life cycles, including both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in talent development, experience in managing a portfolio of AI agents and AI-enabled products, and be adept at managing vendor performance. Core competencies include the ability to exercise judgment in ambiguous situations, outstanding attention to detail, and clear, effective communication skills. A 4-year college degree in a related technical field is preferred, along with Agile or PMP certification and experience with tools such as JIRA, Aha!, and Confluence.
