Position Title Title Attorney Location & Hours Silk Title Co., Warwick, RI Full-Time, Rotating Days and Evenings Candidate must live within a commutable distance to the Warwick, RI office. Pay Pay range: $17–$21 per hour (Negotiable) Key Responsibilities Resolve complex title issues using underwriting and company guidelines. Research and resolve escalated title matters. Respond to requests from company employees and clients regarding insurability of title. Prepare and/or review documents necessary for closing real estate transactions, including affidavits, deeds, and escrow agreements. Collaborate with title insurance underwriters to resolve escalated title and curative issues. Answer emails and phone calls to assist clients and customers with questions. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar (or pending admission if recent graduate). 0–2 years of relevant experience. Strong research, analytical, and writing skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with property records, title insurance, and escrow procedures. Strong knowledge of real estate terminology, documentation, and transaction processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure. High level of professionalism and integrity.
