The Mail and Scanning Processor is responsible for working in a fast-paced environment, handling all inbound and outbound mail and deliveries, sorting and scanning of medical forms, shredding, and other mailroom activities.
Job Details:
-In office at 6535 North State Highway 161, Irving, TX 75039
What Will You Be Doing:
Open mail and print reports and faxes.

Perform comprehensive detailed sorting of mail, reports and faxes.

Scan all mail, reports and faxes according to specific types and instructions.
Receive and log all special deliveries including FedEx, UPS, and certified mail.

Distribute, deliver and assist with mail, packages and boxes internally.

Support other departments in folding, stuffing and posting of special mailings.

Provide additional scanning support to other departments.

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of all mailroom equipment.

Participate in a shredding maintenance program.

Return x-rays received with dental claims
Qualifications
General office skills required for basic use of office equipment and a computer

High school diploma or GED
-
Good verbal and written communication skills are needed.

Knowledge of mailroom equipment and shipping procedures preferred.

Prior scanning experience preferred.

Knowledge of medical claims forms preferred.
