Sr. Product Manager

Can sit out of Atlanta, Fort Worth, or Minneapolis A global leader in Payments and Data solutions, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to help drive the strategy and execution of the developer platform and payment API ecosystem. This role is ideal for a highly technical Product Manager who thrives at the intersection of product, engineering, and developer experience. This position centers on API products, developer tools, SDKs, and platform capabilities that enable software providers, ISVs, and partners to seamlessly embed payment functionality into their applications. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, experience working closely with engineering teams, and a passion for building products that developers use. What You’ll Do Own the roadmap, strategy, and execution for Deluxe's developer platform and payment APIs. Improve the developer experience (DevX) across APIs, SDKs, webhooks, developer portals, documentation, sandbox environments, and integration tooling. Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, and Developer teams to define scalable platform capabilities. Drive initiatives that reduce integration friction and accelerate developer adoption. Work directly with developers, solution architects, implementation teams, and ISV partners to understand integration challenges and platform needs. Define product requirements for APIs, authentication, access management, event-driven services, and developer tooling. Use customer feedback, usage data, and technical insights to prioritize platform enhancements and roadmap investments. Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for stakeholders across the organization. Champion best practices for API design, developer documentation, self-service onboarding, and platform usability. Continuously improve the developer documentation experience, ensuring API references, integration guides, SDK documentation, tutorials, release notes, sample code, onboarding content, and change communications are accurate, discoverable, and developer-friendly. Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field. 3-5 years of Product Management experience supporting technical products, developer platforms, APIs, or software infrastructure. Experience owning API-driven products and platform capabilities from concept through delivery. Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, SDKs, authentication frameworks, and integration architectures. Ability to read and understand API documentation, endpoints, requests, responses, and developer workflows. Experience working directly with software engineers and technical stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences. Experience creating, managing, or influencing technical documentation for APIs, SDKs, integration guides, developer portals, or technical products, with a strong understanding of developer content best practices Nice to Have Skills and Experience Early-career experience as a Software Engineer, Developer, Technical Analyst, Solutions Engineer, or other hands-on technical role. Payments or fintech platform experience. Knowledge of payment processing concepts including authorization, capture, settlement, tokenization, vaulting, and merchant onboarding. Experience building products for software platforms, ISVs, SaaS providers, or developer ecosystems. Familiarity with developer-focused businesses such as Stripe, Adyen, PayPal, Square, Plaid, Marqeta, Braintree, Worldpay, or similar platform organizations. Experience with developer documentation tooling and standards such as OpenAPI/Swagger, Postman, Redoc, documentation-as-code workflows, GitHub, Markdown, or similar developer content platforms. #J-18808-Ljbffr
