As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related situations with care and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the location.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, supporting facility access procedures and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
