Experienced Accountant

Job Description Job Description Telepro Communications is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to support the financial operations of our companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent organizational skills, and experience working in the construction, telecommunications, fire protection, electrical, or service industries. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records for multiple companies. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and vendor statements. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports. Track project expenses, job costs, purchase orders, and company profitability. Review billing, invoices, payments, and outstanding balances. Assist with payroll-related accounting entries and reconciliations. Support month-end and year-end closing procedures. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits, and tax preparation. Research and correct accounting discrepancies. Maintain confidentiality of company and employee financial information. Ensure accounting procedures comply with company policies and generally accepted accounting principles. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience. Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Experience with multi-company accounting is strongly preferred. Experience with construction accounting, job costing, or project-based accounting is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
