Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist Westerville, OH, United States Trending Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Project Execution Finance Analyst will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of various projects for non‑GSA projects. This role entails analyzing project financial performance and providing insights into supporting decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a challenging environment. The Project Execution Financial Analyst will collaborate closely with various teams throughout the business including Finance, Accounting, and Project Execution teams. Responsibilities Monitor financial performance against established budgets and escalate discrepancies. Analyze financial performance and trends to make recommendations to improve margins and reduce costs. Monitor project expenditures and report out trends. Track and report cost overruns. Ensure projects adhere to financial policies, regulations, and accounting standards. Assist with internal and external audits. Support project closure based on internal closure guidelines. Identify potential risks and opportunities and make Project Managers and the management team aware. Provide monthly reporting on project financials. Qualifications 2+ years financial analytical or accounting experience. Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Software proficiency (Smartsheet, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Suite, Power BI). Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and people skills. Ability to pull together and summarize large amounts of data into concise explanations. Education and Certifications Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
