Summary About the Position: Serves as a senior Human Resources (HR) Specialist working in Civilian Human Resources Agency (CHRA), Health Services & DoWEA HR Directorate, East Bravo Staffing Service Center Commands supported for this recruitment include : Civilian Human Resources Agency (CHRA) employees. - Develops long and short-range staffing plans to meet forecasted mission requirements, human capital losses, changes in critical competencies availability of candidates, career development patterns, and reorganization proposals.
- Advises management on recruitment strategies, sources, special programs, recruitment, relocation and retention incentive programs.
- Provides guidance on merit system principles, prohibited personnel practices, the development and use of valid selection criteria in support of recruitment and placement processes.
- Conducts briefings and/or informational sessions for managers or the workforce on human resource related topics to foster understanding and acceptance of new and/or revised HR regulations, policies and practices.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Tier 1 security investigation or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.

- This position requires a 1 year probationary period during which the agency evaluates your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest. Continued employment requires written certification that it advances the public interest.
