Pay: $150,000 - $165,000+ Annual bonus + Stock options and full benefits

Schedule: Day shift Monday - Friday

Job Description:
The Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of a power generation facility. They ensure the plant produces energy efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with environmental and regulatory standards. This leadership role involves managing operational budgets, training staff, and coordinating with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage daily shift operations, control room activities, and generation output to meet energy demands.
• Enforce OSHA regulations and environmental permits. Act as a primary contact for federal and state compliance.
• Develop and oversee annual Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and capital expenditure budgets.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate operations staff. Foster a strong safety culture across all shifts.
• Work with the maintenance department to plan routine outages, troubleshoot equipment failures, and conduct root-cause analyses

Target Individual:

• 7+ years in power generation, preferably combined cycle or gas turbine experience
• 3+ years in a managerial or supervisory position
• Someone motivated to continue moving up as we'll have progression opportunities within the plant and fleet.
