Commercial Real Estate Paralegal (Lender-Side Experience Preferred)

Salary Range:  $80,000 to $95,000 per year

Location: New York, NY | Hybrid

 

A well-established law firm is seeking a highly motivated Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support a busy and growing practice. This role offers hands-on experience with complex commercial real estate transactions, including financings, acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and manage real estate documents (closing checklists, UCC filings, title/survey summaries, closing binders)
• Conduct due diligence (leases, loan documents, corporate documents, zoning reports)
• Coordinate with title companies, lenders, borrowers, and counsel
• Manage closing logistics, including deliverables and electronic closing rooms
• Support pre- and post-closing processes and maintain organized case files

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate
• 3–5 years of real estate paralegal experience (commercial preferred)
• Strong knowledge of UCC filings, title/survey review, and transaction documents
• Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems

 

Bonus:

• Multi-property or multi-lender transaction experience
• Knowledge of NYS real estate law and lending practices
• Experience with e-signature platforms
