Requirements

• Required certification: ICU
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required 2. Cases: Cardiac monitoring, emergency response, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, multi-system organ failure, thermoregulation, IV insulin protocol, GI surgery, chronic/acute renal failure, IV therapy, medication management, neurological cases, respiratory/thoracic cases 3. Certifications: ACLS and BCLS required, CCRN preferred; copies required at submission 4. License: Valid state license in hand preferred, otherwise must apply for MN license; Nursys verification required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic (Excellian) required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights, may be placed on call as needed, up to every other weekend 8. RTO: Ideally no more than 5 days; vacation plans between sign date and start date must be communicated 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 3 months from last shift worked as permanent staff or per diem 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile radius required; locals not accepted except for Radiology positions 11. Background: Cannot proceed if open case; all hits reviewed during compliance; fingerprinting required 12. Modules: Pre-start modules required with $150 stipend, average 8 hours; onsite Epic/Excellian classes billable 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Navy color 15.
