Registered Nurse - NICU

Location: Anschutz Medical Campus
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12?Hour DAYS: 6:45 AM 7:15 PM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
On Call Requirement: None
Holiday Work Requirement: July 4th
Responsibilities
Provide care in the Level Four NICU
Float to ICU's (PICU or CICU) and acute care floors (6, 8, 9, 10) as needed
Ensure care for patients not greater than 3 years of age if floated outside NICU
Maintain clinical competence and adapt to various practice areas within 35 miles of the original facility
Requirements
Education: BSN required; will consider ADN with 8 years of Level IV NICU experience in a teaching and children's facility
Licensure/Certification: Colorado RN license or multi-state compact license, PALS, ACLS, BLS
Minimum 2 years of Level IV NICU experience
MUST HAVE TRACH/VENT EXPERIENCE
Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Preferred Skills
Prefer Pediatric CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
Prior travel nursing experience
PICU experience is a plus, but not required
