Electrical Estimator – Philadelphia Suburbs
Growing electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team in the Philadelphia suburbs. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the estimating process, working with project teams, and helping win profitable work.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates for commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects
- Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and develop accurate material and labor estimates
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
- Prepare competitive bids and proposals
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients
- Track bids and assist with project handoff after award
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of electrical estimating experience
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, and construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Experience with estimating software, Excel, and related tools
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
