Senior Director, Payroll Projects & Payroll Time

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a Senior Director to lead global payroll transformation, governance, and workforce time strategy. This hybrid role oversees enterprise-wide payroll and time initiatives across multiple countries, partnering with cross-functional leadership to drive operational excellence, compliance, and innovation.

Responsibilities

Lead global payroll and workforce time projects from strategy through execution across regions
Drive payroll harmonization, process standardization, and transformation initiatives
Implement automation and technology enhancements to improve efficiency and compliance
Establish governance frameworks, roadmaps, and metrics for operational excellence
Lead and mentor project teams while fostering continuous improvement culture

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
12+ years progressive payroll experience including global operations and project management
7+ years leading payroll, project, or cross-functional teams in multinational organizations
Deep expertise in global payroll systems, compliance, and workforce time management
Experience with Workday HCM, Workday Payroll, or similar enterprise payroll platforms
Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations
Project management experience leading large-scale transformations and system implementations
