Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Perform a wide variety of mechanical and electrical maintenance work of a skilled and complex nature. Installs, repairs, and maintains manufacturing equipment and plant facilities necessary for satisfactory operation of equipment and processes. This position is moderately physical.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and combustion malfunctions and operating difficulties.
• Determines repair procedures and implements those repairs that will be effective in preventing reoccurrence.
• Can navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for the purpose of troubleshooting equipment faults.
• Can modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots. Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700.
• Installs moves, and aligns new and existing equipment.
• Sets up and operates various types of machine shop equipment with a moderate degree of accuracy and efficiency.
• Performs both gas and electric welding operations.
• Completes related machine repair records, performs associated handling duties, and maintains the work area in a neat and orderly condition.
• Performs all necessary preventive and proactive tasks on plant equipment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by supervision and/or designated team leader.

• 4 years of related experience in Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding.
• Maintenance Technician A level must be proficient at troubleshooting die-casting machine cells through the use of PLCs and electrical and hydraulic schematics.

• Must be able to apply principles acquired through technical or vocational subjects (certificates or some college courses)

• 4 years of experience in Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding.
• Experience in troubleshooting die-casting machine cells through the use of PLCs and electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Salary Package: $ 35.00 - 37.00 (US Dollar)
