Senior HVAC Service Technician - Direct Hire

Skilled Trades Partners is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Service Technician for a direct-hire opportunity with an expanding HVAC contractor in the Columbus, Ohio area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HVAC professional who enjoys being hands-on in the field but is also interested in taking the next step in their career. This position offers a clear path into leadership and the opportunity to grow into a future General Manager role. Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems Perform seasonal maintenance, system inspections, and equipment change-outs Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical HVAC issues Communicate with customers regarding system issues, recommended solutions, and pricing Accurately document service calls and completed work Mentor and support other technicians Assist with scheduling, customer concerns, and day-to-day service operations Support installation crews and fellow technicians as needed Participate in ongoing technical, leadership, and operations training Qualifications: 5+ years of HVAC service, maintenance, and/or installation experience EPA 608 Type II or Universal certification required Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Residential and light commercial HVAC experience Lead Technician, mentoring, or supervisory experience preferred Interest in growing into a future management/General Manager position Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong communication and customer service skills ServiceTitan or similar field-service software experience is a plus Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen Compensation & Benefits: $40–$50/hr based on experience Direct-hire, permanent position Medical insurance stipend 10 days PTO to start 401(k) Company vehicle and tablet Leadership and operations training Clear advancement opportunity into a General Manager role Supportive, locally owned environment with long-term career growth #J-18808-Ljbffr Skilled-Trades-Partners
