Pharmacy Technician

Part Time.   Days.

Responsibilities:

• Medications management in coordination with all medical units ensuring accurate and efficient supplies for our patients.

• Prepare medication books, doses and unit dose carts for all required units.

• Maintains stock repackaging and labeling.

• Answer incoming calls for Pharmacy Department, and perform vital clerical duties.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) accredited training program or 500 hours of equivalent work experience.

• Must be eligible to sit for the PTCE Exam in New York State.

• Must obtain and maintain New York State Registration as a Pharmacy Technician, and Certification by National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) within 6 months of date of hire.
