Oncology Clinical Nurse

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in an inpatient BMT Oncology Unit, focusing on high-acuity treatments such as leukemia care, stem cell transplants, and clinical trials. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and educating patients and families on managing their illness, medications, and post-treatment care. The role emphasizes patient-centered, safe, and quality care, requiring active participation in safety protocols and professional development. Qualifications: Must be a licensed RN with a nursing diploma or associate's degree; bachelor's degree preferred. No prior experience required, but less than 2 years of experience is ideal. The position is safety-sensitive, demanding alertness and safety awareness at all times.
