Seeking a dedicated professional to support student success as a School Psychologist for a contract opportunity near Dekalb, IL. This role offers a structured workload with two onsite days per week (totaling approximately 15 hours) throughout the full school year. The assignment involves serving students across varying grade levels and standard duties at multiple sites within the district.
What You’ll Tackle:
- Deliver comprehensive school psychological services: assessments, counseling, intervention, and consultation.
- Support students and staff with academic, social, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to implement effective strategies for student success.
- Conduct evaluations and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by district and state guidelines.
- Engage with diverse student populations; bilingual candidates are preferred.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist Endorsement (required).
- Meets all district or state-specific requirements for School Psychologists.
- Experience working in K-12 settings.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, though not mandatory.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working onsite with openness to discussing hybrid flexibility if available.
