We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic team. We are looking for an assistant for Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7:45AM to 5:15PM and Wednesday 10:30AM to 7PM. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental providers and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the practice. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about providing excellent patient care and is familiar with various dental procedures.

Duties

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a comfortable experience for patients.
• Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, including sterilizing instruments and managing supplies.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols.
• Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for patient records management and appointment scheduling.
• Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance workflow during procedures.
• Employ aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff.

Skills

• Experience with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
• Strong understanding of four-handed dentistry principles to assist effectively during procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to demonstrate aseptic technique in all aspects of clinical practice.
• Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not mandatory.
