IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC)

This position is located at Department of Housing and Urban Development , Office of the Chief Information Officer . You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience For the GS-13 , you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: Conducting risk and vulnerability assessments and collaborating with stakeholders to support the implementation of IT security policies and procedures in the development and operation of network systems to help protect evidence used in the investigation of computer crimes. Assisting in preparing reports and conducting analyses to identify and recommend solutions to issues affecting security operations. Supporting the development and maintenance of systems that meet current and future business requirements and reviewing requests from internal and external sources for information and work products requiring research, using commercially available tools and products. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT‑related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
