This role works closely with proposal managers, business leadership, technical specialists, and other team members. Personal initiative, the ability to meet deadlines, a commitment to teamwork, and detailed follow-through are key to success in this role. Prior experience in developing proposals – writing and editing proposal content and responding to proposal-related customer questions. Demonstrated ability to multitask with numerous high priority demands in an intense, deadline-driven environment is a must. Demonstrable ability to grasp technical concepts and translate into compelling sales proposals. Ability to think critically and draw from multiple resources to create unified and persuasive documents. Demonstrable ability to grasp technical concepts and translate to compelling, understandable documents for both technical and non-technical readers. Demonstrable mastery of the English written language including spelling, composition, and grammar. Excellent organizational skills.Position Requirements/Qualifications: Education and Certifications BA/BS in English, Communications, or Journalism (Required) Knowledge and Experience At least five years of experience in technical proposal writing (Required) Advanced Microsoft Word skills and experience with all other MS Office applications (Required) Advanced Adobe Acrobat Professional experience (Required) ValidaTek is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
