Why This Opportunity Stands Out Hybrid work schedule with flexibility High-visibility role partnering with senior leadership Opportunity to lead a collaborative accounting team Broad exposure across accounting, payroll, audit, tax, and cash management functions Stable and respected organization with a strong culture and employee tenure Ability to make a meaningful impact through process and system improvements Key Responsibilities Oversee the general ledger and manage month‑end and year‑end close processes Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance Manage trust accounting activities and daily cash flow operations Oversee banking relationships, cash management, and bank reconciliations Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and coordinate annual audit activities Manage tax compliance processes and partner with external advisors on filings and reporting requirements Supervise accounting staff and provide leadership, coaching, and performance management Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely, accurate payroll administration and complianceMaintain and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibility Prior leadership or people management experience preferred Hands‑on payroll experience, including payroll processing Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance Professional services industry experience is a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr CFS
