We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Assistant to help keep our facility safe, clean, and running smoothly. Job Duties: Assist with facility maintenance and repair tasks Follow preventive maintenance schedules and safety protocols Operate and maintain equipment safely Report repair needs and supply shortages to supervisor Maintain documentation and safety logs Support infection control and waste disposal procedures Participate in safety drills and uphold Resident Rights policies Qualifications: High school diploma preferred Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance, previous healthcare experience, a plus Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions Have dependable transportation Comfortable working in a team and interacting with residents Be able to assist with on-call responsibilities The Avenue at Lyndhurst is a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing care facility offering a distinctive experience not commonly found in traditional care settings.
